Newcastle's China Town District The Chinatown in Newcastle is a district of Newcastle upon Tyne, located to the west of the city on the edge of the shopping and commercial centre, mostly along Stowell Street. QE II last visit to NuT In 2008 the Cunard liner Queen Elizabeth 2 was taken out of service. On it's last days of service it visited many ports that were previously used as embarkation points. Here is a shot of her at Newcastle upon Tyne. She was on her way to become a floating hotel in Dubai, where she rests at anchor today.
